DEFINITIONS

Client: For the purposes of this privacy policy, a "Client" refers specifically to an individual who has purchased a photoshoot session or received a gift card for our services (where payment has been made). This definition does not include individuals who participate in promotional photoshoots where services are provided free of charge in exchange for image usage rights.

Collection and Use of CLIENT PHOTOGRAPHS

  • Client Photographs are considered personal data

  • By default, all Client photographs remain private and are NEVER used for marketing purposes without explicit consent from the Client

  • Client photographs are used solely for the purpose of providing our services to you

Storage and Sharing of Client Photographs

  • Client photographs are stored on our hard drives for a limited period of 2 weeks

  • Photographs are shared with one third-party service provider, Pixieset Media Inc. (further referred as "Pixieset"), which provides online gallery hosting services

  • Galleries storing Client photographs on Pixieset are private and password-protected, ensuring only Client and those chosen by Client to share with can access Client photographs

  • After 2 weeks, all Client photographs are deleted from both our drives and from Pixieset’s cloud services.

client Marketing Use Exception

  • If Client explicitly agrees to allow us to use their photographs for marketing purposes (through a separate written consent), different retention periods may apply

  • Marketing-approved Client photographs may be stored for as long as required or until Client requests their deletion

PROMOTIONAL PHOTOSHOOT PARTICIPANTS

Individuals who participate in free promotional photoshoots in exchange for image usage rights are not considered "clients" under this privacy policy. By participating in free photoshoots these promotional participants explicitly consent to their images being used for marketing and promotional purposes as part of their agreement with us.

WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We may share your personal information with:

  • Third-party service providers (Acuity, Mailchimp, Google Tag, Meta Pixel)

  • Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal)

  • Pixieset (for hosting client photo galleries)

  • Other third parties necessary for business operations or legal compliance

DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

Our services are primarily intended for individuals aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal data from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If you become aware that a minor under 13 has provided data without parental consent, please contact us immediately.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy notice or as required by law, typically for the duration that our business operates. Specific retention periods:

  • Client photographs: 2 weeks from the date of the photoshoot

  • Photographs approved marketing and promotional activities: for as long as necessary
